Louis het grootgeword in die Kalahari in Namibie, een van 6 kinders. Geswot in Kaapstad vir 3 jaar en vir Marlicia ontmoet. Getroud en terug na Namibie vir 4 jaar. Ons het 1988 na Franschhoek verhuis.
Louis het begin werk by Franschhoek Vrugtepakkers. Betrokke by pak en uitvoer van vrugte. Marlicia het grootgeword op 'n wynplaas in Wellington, die oudste van 4 kinders.
Het 20 jaar vir algemene praktisyn gewerk en daarna in 2006 die gastehuis begin. Ons het 2 dogters en 1 seun. Marelie besit "Boschenmeer Health & Beauty" in die Paarl. Amari is 3de jaar student op Stellenbosch. Lodewyk is 11 jaar oud en die enigste in die huis.
Ons is lief vir kamp en werk graag in die tuin. Ons hou elke jaar vakansie in Namibie waar ons springbokke en gemsbokke jag en vir die familie kuier.
Marlicia is lief vir bak, konfyt kook en doen kwiltwerk as stokperdjie. Ons hou daarvan om gaste te onthaal en te bederf.
